<Axel_Wildfire>    Friday, Late Night, Becca's Apartment -
<Axel_Wildfire>    Having seen Haruka off and left Saki snoring on the couch, and retired to bed themselves...
<Axel_Wildfire>    Kenoko seems oddly hesitant about, well, everything really, curled up next to Becca with a worried expression. "Is this really okay with you?"

<AdventFalls>    Becca sighed. "I told you. It's fine. I just don't want to have to childproof the furniture."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "You won't. I promise. She's... my responsibility." the words hang heavy..

<AdventFalls>    Becca held Kenoko close. "....I'm not letting you be alone either."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "I know." she nuzzles against Becca's shoulder, draping an arm over the woman's hip. "I just seem to fuck it up every time I'm responsible for something."

<AdventFalls>    "....You haven't fucked up with me...."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "Yet. I worry about it."

<AdventFalls>    She responded with a soft hug. "Don't. We might argue or something, but that doesn't mean we've screwed up."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "I worry about bigger things than that and you know it." Kenoko draws Becca tight against her. "I worry about not being able to save you if something happens. I worry about getting in trouble and you getting killed coming to the rescue."

<AdventFalls>    "Kenoko. I don't die that easy."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "I know, I know." she sighs softly. "I just worry too much, I guess."

<AdventFalls>    She kissed Kenoko on the cheek. "We'll work on it."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "Mm." Kenoko shuts her eyes, blushing. "I know. I just... I just... there's so many bad things."

<AdventFalls>    "And I'm not letting them take me out."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "It's not just... them. It's this damn city. Everything about it's wrong."

<AdventFalls>    "I thought things were worse when THI was top dog."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "This is a city that still holds underground kaijin fights. Gladiator-style."

<AdventFalls>    "....I thought that was an urban legend they told to Rio recruits to scare them off."

<Axel_Wildfire>    Kenoko snorts. "Urban legend? I've seen one. ... I've *fought* in one."

<AdventFalls>    "Wow."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "And that's the little stuff we let by." she leans up and kisses Becca softly. "So yes. I worry about you."

<AdventFalls>    Becca kissed back. "That's sweet. But I've got a strong lover by my side." She yawned, nuzzling into her.

<Axel_Wildfire>    "A strong, very stressed out, lover." Kenoko smiles, stroking Becca's back with her fingertips. "Especially since I intend to rehumanize Saki."

<AdventFalls>    "....'Your' Saki?" Rebecca raised an eyebrow curiously.

<Axel_Wildfire>    Kenoko frowns. "... did I say that?"

<AdventFalls>    "You did," she sighed.

<Axel_Wildfire>    She winces. "Sorry. Didn't mean to, she was just... kind of my dearest friend at school."

<AdventFalls>    "I mean, you two were just rivals, right?"

<Axel_Wildfire>    Kenoko gives her a curious look. "What do you mean 'just' rivals?"

<AdventFalls>    "I dunno.... what if she was your old flame or something?"

<Axel_Wildfire>    "... I guess she could have been." she admits hesitantly. "I just... neither of us really went through with it."

<AdventFalls>    Becca blushed. "...Just tell me you and her aren't going to.... you know."

<Axel_Wildfire>    Kenoko gives her a look. "Of course not."

<AdventFalls>    "Just checking."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "I'm not Haruka." she smiles and cups Becca's cheek. "One-woman woman here."

<AdventFalls>    Becca smiled. "That's sweet of you."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "Yeah. Ngh." Kenoko grunts in apparent pain and rolls over, exposing her bare back to Becca. "Am I bruised?" She is, quite impressively across her lower back.

<AdventFalls>    "Yeah, you are."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "Igh. I got thrown through three trees and then she slammed me hard enough that it made a crater." she rests her head on her crossed forearms.

<AdventFalls>    "Damn. That's rough."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "I'll be fine by morning. Upside of being a machine." Kenoko's voice is muffled by the bedclothes.

<AdventFalls>    Becca continued to hold Kenoko close as she began to fall asleep. "G'night...."

<Axel_Wildfire>    "Mm." she snuggles into Becca close, enjoying the woman's warmth. "Sweet dreams."
