[21:53:53] <AdventFalls> Yukari shook her head as she settled into her office. "Den-O AND Kaixa..." She grit her teeth as she unwrapped her sub sandwich. "Damn it, damn it, damn it. Couldn't even get Shin."
[21:54:12] <AdventFalls> She flipped on her speaker phone. "Is Xander waiting for me?"

[21:55:07] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Got one Alexander Winger in the guestbook, Madame President. Would that be him?"

[21:56:26] <AdventFalls> "That's the one. Send him in. And I don't want to be disturbed while he's in here. Understood?"

[21:58:02] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Is that the regular 'Do Not Disturb', ma'am, or are you expecting to have JUNKER's bigger cheeses come by later?" There's the faintest sound of a giggle from the mic.

[21:58:22] <AdventFalls> "The regular. I'd be in a much better mood if it was the latter."
[21:59:17] <AdventFalls> "...Also, schedule an appointment with Royce later today. It's been.... just send Xander in."

[22:00:58] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Rogered that. Er, Roger that." A ding as the guest to D&P's main headquarters was cleared for an audience with the President.

[22:04:25] <Axel_Wildfire> Xander enters looking fairly awkward, busily wrapping his headphones around an x-brand MP3 player and tucking them into the pocket of his uniform - he's been learning the solo to Highway Star. "You, uh, asked to see me, ma'am?"

[22:04:44] <AdventFalls> "Yes. Take a seat, Xander. We have much to discuss. But first....."
[22:05:46] <AdventFalls> She opened a part of her desk, revealing a pad that she placed her hand on. "Code Phrase: Only Sith Deal in Absolutes."
[22:05:52] <AdventFalls> The lights dimmed slightly.

[22:06:10] <Axel_Wildfire> "... Star Wars, ma'am? Really?"

[22:06:30] <AdventFalls> "I always was a bit of a nerd. Had to disable the recording devices."
[22:06:49] <AdventFalls> "What we are going to discuss today is of vital importance to JUNKER, Xander."

[22:07:41] <Axel_Wildfire> Xander drops into a chair. "You sure you got the right Alexander Winger?"

[22:08:15] <AdventFalls> "Yes." She nodded. "A few days ago, JUNKER was attacked by an unknown Rider. We've identified the Rider, and are preparing a special mission to draw him out."
[22:08:35] <AdventFalls> "We've selected you for the mission."

[22:09:06] <Axel_Wildfire> "'Him'?" he queries. "Sounded like a girl while 'he' was beating the hell out of me."

[22:10:23] <AdventFalls> "Our man is a confirmed cross-dresser, and an extremely skilled Belt-crafter."
[22:10:37] <AdventFalls> "He built the belt that bricked the Osu 7 Gear."

[22:11:44] <Axel_Wildfire> "... great..." Xander fidgets.

[22:12:42] <AdventFalls> "Our plan to lure him out is simple: fake him out into thinking we gave an extremely powerful Rider Gear to someone clearly not cut out for it."
[22:13:21] <AdventFalls> "Let me make this abundantly clear, Xander- under ordinary circumstances you would be taking exams and such to get a Rider Gear like this."
[22:13:29] <AdventFalls> "These are NOT ordinary circumstances."

[22:15:52] <Axel_Wildfire> He nods. "I get that."

[22:16:47] <AdventFalls> "You will be training with me *personally* to ensure your proficiency with this Gear. And even then you will likely have to fight against a Void Hour veteran, no holds barred. I want you to know precisely what you're getting into before you agree to this."
[22:17:22] <AdventFalls> "Because I've had to sacrifice far too much to get my hands on this Gear, and I don't want the person I give it to to have second thoughts."

[22:17:56] <Axel_Wildfire> Another nod. "Alright."

[22:18:40] <AdventFalls> "The person we are attempting to draw out is Wyll Ascher. The founder of Riders Sans Frontiers."
[22:21:02] <AdventFalls> "You will be wielding Rider-tier Gear until All-Riders, which is when we expect him to strike."

[22:23:05] <Axel_Wildfire> Xander winces. "That's a big ask."

[22:23:31] <AdventFalls> "I know. It's not going to be easy." She put the briefcase on the desk and opened it, not revealing its contents."
[22:23:43] <AdventFalls> "Which is why I'm giving you a chance to back out right now."
[22:24:48] <AdventFalls> "You can refuse me right now, and I won't think any less of you."
[22:25:19] <AdventFalls> "But if you say yes, if you stand your ground against one of the most skilled men of our time.... well.... what can I say?"

[22:27:37] <Axel_Wildfire> Xander weighs it for all of about three seconds. "My answer's the same as when I threw myself in front of a charging Grongi for Haru and Korin."
[22:27:41] <Axel_Wildfire> "Bring it on."

[22:28:17] <AdventFalls> It was then that Yukari revealed a belt that would strike fear into the hearts of other riders.
[22:28:51] <AdventFalls> "Then you will be assigned Rider Gear H10-DCD453: Kamen Rider Decade."

[22:29:28] <Axel_Wildfire> There's a beat, and Xander starts laughing.

[22:29:54] <AdventFalls> Yukari raised an eyebrow.

[22:30:14] <Axel_Wildfire> "I'm sorry... that's just... really appropriate..." it takes a moment for his chuckles to subside.

[22:30:20] <AdventFalls> "How so?"

[22:30:44] <Axel_Wildfire> "Look at my dossier, ma'am."

[22:31:59] <AdventFalls> "...I see." She nodded. "We begin training tomorrow. I had to hand over Den-O AND Kaixa to get my hands on this."
[22:32:07] <AdventFalls> "I expect you to take this seriously, do you understand?"

[22:32:20] <Axel_Wildfire> Xander straightens up instantly. "Yes ma'am."

[22:32:57] <AdventFalls> "Good. This thing IS the original Anti-Rider Gear. You'll see Royce after this meeting concludes for a briefing on its capabilities."
[22:33:22] <AdventFalls> "Any questions you have before I send you off?"

[22:33:45] <Axel_Wildfire> He takes a breath. "Are you *sure* you want me for this?"

[22:34:32] <AdventFalls> She nodded. "You're in the right place at the right time. Your regular Gear is still bricked, and on paper, you aren't prepared for any other Gear by a country mile."
[22:34:57] <AdventFalls> "But with some training between myself and Kaoru, you will be able to put up a respectable fight."

[22:35:04] <Axel_Wildfire> "Understood. I'll be ready by the time All-Riders rocks around." Xander nods.

[22:35:12] <AdventFalls> "Anything else?"

[22:37:00] <Axel_Wildfire> He shakes his head. "No ma'am."

[22:37:53] <AdventFalls> "Then you're dismissed, Xander. If anyone asks, you were blindsided by a sudden promotion to Rider-class due to your performance on a written exam."

[22:38:47] <Axel_Wildfire> "Got it." he stands and throws off a salute, which is probably slightly cheeky. "... is this gonna work?"

[22:39:40] <AdventFalls> "Wyll had a personal grudge against the last person who wore Decade. Not an unfounded one, either. There's only two other Gears we could get our hands on that could draw him out."
[22:40:02] <AdventFalls> "One of them is already prepped. The other, well.... we'll hope for the best."
[22:42:45] <AdventFalls> "Just be happy we didn't give you Masked Rider."
[22:42:51] <AdventFalls> Yukari grimaced.

[22:43:14] <Axel_Wildfire> "I'm happy with Decade ma'am." Xander tries not to smile.

[22:43:27] <AdventFalls> "Then I think we're done here." She nodded.

[22:44:22] <Axel_Wildfire> He nods back and makes for the door, exhaling slowly. /I think things just got really fucking interesting around here./

[22:46:55] <AdventFalls> Once Xander left, Yukari went for her phone. "Haruka, it's Yukari. I just got our man on the inside his Gear."

[22:49:44] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Sweet. Having a look through the MR candidates as we speak." A muted sigh. "...I still say it's not THAT bad a Gear. It's just RX with alien tech. And we do xeno-tech on a regular basis with our half of the H03 series."

[22:50:21] <AdventFalls> "Right. Well, fire it up because we don't have Shin. You're cleared to do whatever is necessary to get that person their gear."

[22:51:55] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Got it. Glad to see you've managed on your end, love." There's the sound of a subtle click over the speakerphone. "Now how'd this go...was it 'Exophase Activate', or..."
