[15:18:14] <mibbitXAN> "Wait, there's a guy who makes gears out there?" Miyuki's head pops out of an airduct.

[15:19:39] <@Haruka_Emmerich> Aelita turns to the source of the voice. "Apparently so. Didn't exactly figure him for having anything workable for it being a civvie and all, but hey, I taught him...are we paying you to crawl through those, Mizuho?"

[15:21:05] <mibbitXAN> "It's quicker to get around this way and it means in the event of another power outage or whatever I can get around." Miyuki says cheerily "Unless you're going to issue me Sam Fisher goggles."

[15:22:20] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Sam Fisher goggles are the dorkiest things, and I will NEVER issue anything of the sort for night-vision ops." She crosses her arms, a flicker of blue codebody lines revealing her consternation.

[15:22:53] <BSRaven> Well that gets an eyebrow raise out of Vincent, though any snark he might have he keeps to himself.

[15:22:54] <mibbitXAN> "Yeah, I know. Looks like a Scopedog."

[15:24:54] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Run that comparison by Jack later, he might like it...speaking of which, Roa, you're getting a special treat for your stress-test." Aelita whips out the ZX Belt, snapping it around her waist. "I need the practice for proctoring a combined promotion exam later anyway. So you'll be taking me on with whatever you've got going there."

[15:26:43] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Oh come on, it's not like I'll be using Susanoo against you."

[15:26:44] <mibbitXAN> "Mmmm? You don't look like the main villain of Tsukihime..." Miyuki eyes the boy.

[15:28:01] <BSRaven> Said long-haired boy just looks disapprovingly. "I blame my dad for that."

[15:33:22] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Could blame him for a lot of things, I'm told." She grins at Vincent. "This is my henshin. There are many like it, but this is mine. Now show me yours."

[15:33:58] <mibbitXAN> Miyuki drops out of the vent, leaning against the wall.

[15:36:13] <BSRaven> "Alright." Wordlessly, the button on the left hand side of the Gear has a thumb push down on it -- /Ignite: Vorlent\ -- before a white armour covers Vincent's body, the young man not even seeming to pose after the push. Lazy bastard.

[15:41:17] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Ah, the folly of a Heisei-type henshin. Me, I don't think you've lived..." Aelita's arms snap to her right side. "...until you've gone through the wiggly hand movements!" And then they spiral left, gathering a crimson glow. "Henshin...Ze-CU-ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSS!"
[15:42:11] <@Haruka_Emmerich> And with that, Kamen Rider ZX faced the raw recruit. "Now then...let's see what you're made of."

[15:42:35] <BSRaven> "Not much, probably."

[15:42:42] <mibbitXAN> "This should be interesting..."

[15:45:11] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Your loss for being so apathetic..." Aelita rushes him, hand poised to strike at his shoulder joint.
[15:50:29] <@Haruka_Emmerich> It connects (either Vincent is just THAT apathetic or just having too much of a deer-in-the-headlights moment), ZX yanking him back and onto the ground. "Hmph...at least you look like you could take a punch if you felt like it."

[15:52:02] <mibbitXAN> "Woah, that's..." Miyuki gets the feeling there's something slightly wrong here.

[15:56:01] <BSRaven> "Kh--!" Down onto the floor the white Rider goes. "That... wasn't comfortable." Back onto his feet he goes, although kinda slowly... A green blade emerging from around the right wrist swiftly darts towards the other Rider. Guess he's getting the idea, even if he is being a bit shoddy in his fighting.

[15:59:31] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Whoa!" The crystalline protrusion barely whizzes past Aelita's midsection. "This might get serious if you manage to hit..." Nevertheless, point stands that Vincent's extended an arm to make that attack, and she capitalizes for another intended CQC-toss.

[16:01:24] <BSRaven> Good luck grabbing something that just seemed to teleport out of the way. "...Wait, what?" ...Guess it wasn't intentional.

[16:02:49] <mibbitXAN> "Um... do you even know how your gear works?" Miyuki isn't sure what to think of this guy.

[16:04:49] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Hel-LO..." For all the consternation of missing such a blatant opening, Aelita is more curious than anything. "Don't think there's been a straight-up teleporting Rider in...ever. They all seem to half-ass it with time acceleration."
[16:05:08] <@Haruka_Emmerich> ZX produces a handful of kunai and refocuses, tossing the lot at Vincent's new location.

[16:13:26] <BSRaven> Well, someone's not going to be feeling pretty after this, that's for sure. You can thank the kunai for actually hitting. "Gah... Let's try this." Vorlent produces a gun and squeezes off a green blast from it. [The blade didn't work, and that ninjitsu makes close combat insane... So let's try ranged.]

[16:17:56] <@Haruka_Emmerich> The laser manages to tag ZX in the chest, Aelita wincing yet continuing to charge forth. "Heh...not bad at all. Can't say I'm gonna let you make a gunfight out of it, though..." Red energy begins to gather around the ninja Rider as it bounds into the air, flipping into a solid-looking Rider Kick!

[16:22:04] <BSRaven> "Yeah, no." A lazy-looking (but actually sorta fast) sidestep leads the Kick off-target. "My dad was a Rider, I still know better than to take that one."

[16:23:11] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Nice to see it doesn't just run in the family for the girls up top..."

[16:25:39] <BSRaven> "Eh."
[16:28:32] <BSRaven> [When in Rome, do as the Romans do, right? So when in melee... Yeah.] And there goes the blade again. At least he's not trying to punch, that would probably end horribly.

[16:31:09] <@Haruka_Emmerich> Yeah, it kinda does. Or at least it ends in the blade crashing against ZX's shoulder and fragmenting off. "Niiiice...if inordinately brittle. I've got a hunch it'll poke through kaijin fine, though."
[16:32:04] <@Haruka_Emmerich> The energy surrounding Aelita takes on a pinkish tint. "This, on the other hand...tends to go through EVERYTHING." And it begins to build towards her palm. "CHOUDEN RASENGAN!"

[16:33:04] <@Haruka_Emmerich> She extends the arm, loosing the ball of raw digital force...only for it to fly right past the ivory Kamen Rider.

[16:33:21] <BSRaven> "...Might wanna adjust your sights."

[16:33:52] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Hmm, maybe I ought to...been too used to going full blast."

[16:37:06] <BSRaven> Vorlent levels the gun for a second time before firing at ZX once again. It's worked better than the blade, so it's probably a better bet to just plink away at the strawberry's armour than to push luck.

[16:39:30] <@Haruka_Emmerich> Vincent's efforts seem to be as half-hearted as the rest of him, though, as the beam scorches into Aelita with no visible effect. "Hey, remember what you said about adjusting my sights?"

[16:39:39] <BSRaven> "I still hit."

[16:40:15] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "Oh no, not for YOU, you're just fine." And then the crackle of digital energy begins to resound in Vincent's ear.
[16:41:32] <@Haruka_Emmerich> ...right before the errant Rasengan from before slams right into his spine.

[16:44:41] <BSRaven> And what a slam. It's enough to actually knock Vincent off-balance, barely managing to stop his pretty self from faceplanting on the floor as the Vorlent armour shatters away in a manner similar to the Rider's blade. "..."

[16:46:50] <@Haruka_Emmerich> *whistle* "...still got it." Aelita removes her own belt. "Still, pretty resilient compared to most of the relics we've got here. You put some effort into exploring your Gear's potential, and you're bound to go places in JUNKER."

[16:48:41] <BSRaven> Making sure his hair hasn't decided to go in eighty different directions at once, the prettyboy sighs. "Effort hates me, and I hate it."

[16:51:06] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "We'll see in due time whether you quit being so tsun for each other..." A yawn. "In the meantime, thanks for the workout. Take fifteen to get yourself picked up, then report to wherever Emmerich's shuffled you."

Aelita glances around, eyes darting between Vincent and Miyuki (who'd somehow acquired popcorn amidst the sparring session). "...hell, this may as well be a fine time for Roa to start pulling his weight."

[17:07:50] <BSRaven> The young man conveniently timed his eyebrows coming together in concern at the unwanted voice in his head with Yukari's 'don't need to remind you' line. Yay convenience.

[17:16:26] <AdventFalls> "Do what needs to be done. Things are escalating to a point I was hoping we'd never get to."

[17:16:52] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "C'mon, you two, we've got a war conf-er, an investigation meeting to conduct." The pink-haired lady starts to wave Vincent and Miyuki out of the blast lab, giving Yukari a reassuring nod. "We're not letting this sour like the last one. Haruka'd kill me again if we did."

[17:17:51] <AdventFalls> "Then I want someone to figure out what the hell happened and how to get her back. I will fucking burn Tokyo to the ground if mind control was involved."

[17:20:15] <@Haruka_Emmerich> "No need to worry about that. Eyewitness reports from the first break-in indicate that this one's got some fucking CLASS." She taps at her earbud. "Sears? Drop whatever you've got, we have a ludicrous emergency down at base..."
